Gay Marriage Protesters and the Media Circus
Only in San Francisco would a bike be so clearly visable in such a crowd. I think what irked me most was the dozen protesters got more coverage than the hundreds of supporters who were also out there. Such is the joy of a sensationalist media. Though I suppose it's hard to avoid, even looking at my own photos where I tried to avoid focusing on them, the size of their signs meant they were featured in most shots. Their message might not be good, but I can't help but admire the tactics used for visual redistribution of the message. Less than a dozen people and they're featured on almost every media outlet and blog.  It's simply impossible to not include them.
